Furlough scheme ending

Almost one in four fear losing their jobs with the furlough scheme coming to an end this month. The scheme – officially known as the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – was introduced in April 2020. It allows employers to keep staff on the payroll without them coming to work, with the Government paying the majority of their salaries.
